Learning and Training with Vanachai in Singapore

This workshop featured a hydraulics training at the Vanachai company's Industrial Park in the province of Surat Thani, in the South of Thailand. The location includes six manufacturing lines for all kind of products i.e. MDF, Particle Board and OSB using Siempelkamp and Kuesters continuous press Technology.

The training was held from 21^st until 24^th of August – a few days before the customer workshop in Bangkok. More than 60 engineers from Vanachai participated in the joint training and workshop. 16 engineers from mechanical installation and service departments from Siempelkamp Malaysia and four mechanical installation engineers from Siempelkamp India took part as well.

The workshop covered the basics of hydraulics, as well as more advanced topics such as hydraulic circuit design and concepts and troubleshooting. The speaker and trainer was Gregor Endberg, Head of Siempelkamp’s Hydraulics Division. Following the training, the various production lines of our customer Vanachai were visited in order to experience live practice here.

This combination of class room and hands on training is a successful recipe not only for the understanding of the taught topics. It also promotes a very close exchange with our customers and a bonding beyond the regular service support or sales visit.
