The press systems are designed for short cycle times and reproducible component quality – including media connections for tool supply, options for tool change, and integration into complete production lines.
SMC (sheet molding compound) is a fiber-reinforced thermoset semi-finished product that is processed in compression molding under pressure and temperature into components with demanding functional and surface requirements. For industrial series production, SIEMPELKAMP supplies press systems that are matched to the specific requirements of this process. Depending on the design, the press systems can be integrated into complete production lines and flexibly configured as individual composites plants for different process requirements.
