Development of Siempelkamp

From being the inventor of the first drilled hotplatens and presses in 1883 to a global-active and comprehensive 24/7 service provider

The origin of our group dates back to the year 1883, when Mr. Gerhard Siempelkamp - a man who was an entrepreneur with heart and soul - revolutionized the textile industry with his drilled hotplatens and presses and thus set the basis for the Siempelkamp Group. In more than 13 decades, Siempelkamp and its product and service portfolio, as well as the technological development of its machinery, has become a worldwide system supplier for a wide range of end industries, such as wood-based materials, metal forming, composite materials, dismantling of nuclear plants and complex and heavy castings.
