Siempelkamp will supply complete production lines with ContiRoll® presses to Linyi Huan Ge, Jiangsu High-Hope Arser, and Xinyi Dake in China
The still quite new Linyi Huan Ge Co., LTD, founded in March of 2017, is a subsidiary of Linyi Fu Da Wood Co., LTD, one of the leading plywood manufacturers in China. Linyi Huan Ge was founded for the production of high-quality MDF panels for interior construction. After 1.5 years of intensive product research on the application possibilities, material use, and application areas of the “combi board”, the manufacturer decided for a production plant made by Siempelkamp.
Founded in the mid-1990s the plywood manufacturer Yafei was renamed to Arser in 2005. Following the joint venture with the Jiangsu Skyrun Group and after merging with the High-Hope Group, the company was finally renamed to Jiangsu High-Hope Arser co., Ltd. in 2012. Jiangsu High-Hope Arser produces, among other things, film-faced plywood, blockboard, as well as melamine-faced MDF. Due to the excellent product quality, the manufacturer meanwhile exports to more than 20 countries in Europe, North and South America, Asia, and the Middle East.
Xinyi Dake New Materials Co., LTD, the customer of Siempelkamp’s first order from China in 2018, is a 100% subsidiary of Huqian Forest Industry & Technology Co., LTD, based in Zhejiang. The Chinese pioneer in fiber board production has been manufacturing MDF/HDF panels since 1980 and operates two production locations in China. The Huqian Group employs about 680 permanent employees and has its own research and development center for the development of new products. Xinyi Dake manufactures and markets MDF panel materials and products under the brand names SONGCHENG and HUQIAN.
The scope of supply for the order for Linyi Huan Ge includes the complete press line – from the mat-forming equipment and the forming line to the press line with the continuous ContiRoll® press to the finishing line with the connected, fully automated, storage system. With this line Siempelkamp delivers the second line for the production of thin MDF with a thickness of 1 mm to China, whereby the plant is designed for a board thickness range of up to 9 mm. Production will be carried out on a 28.8 m x 9’ ContiRoll® press.
With the order for Siempelkamp Jiangsu High-Hope Arser invests in its first MDF production line. The new equipment will ensure the high-quality supply of MDF for the production of melamine-faced MDF. Next to the complete forming and press line with ContiRoll®, the scope of supply for this order also includes the Siempelkamp fiber sifter EcoSifter as well as a newly developed mat preheater with integrated compacting unit which achieves production capacity increases of up to 20 %. With the 28.8 m x 8’ ContiRoll® press Jiangsu High-Hope Arser will produce MDF with a thickness ranging from 1.5 – 40 mm with a material feed of up to 2,000 mm/sec.
The scope of supply from Xinyi Dake also includes the complete machinery for mat forming, the forming line as well as the continuous press line with ContiRoll® press. This second order of the Huqian Group emphasizes a satisfying and year-long relationship of the company with Siempelkamp. Already in 2008 this manufacturer had ordered a complete forming and press line from Siempelkamp. The scope of supply for the latest order is rounded off with a complete finishing line with cooling and stacking system as well as a connected, fully automated, storage system. The heart of the production plant for Xinyi Dake is the 42.1 m x 4’ ContiRoll® press. The special feature of this order: for the first time, Siempelkamp supplies a 4’ ContiRoll® press which can manufacture MDF with a thickness ranging from 12 – 40 mm with a quality suitable for milling.
The delivery of the order for Linyi Huan Ge will take place in June of 2019; the startup is scheduled to take place approximately five months later in November. The plant is designed for a production capacity of 315,000 m³ of MDF annually. The order for Jiangsu High-Hope Arser is scheduled to be delivered in MONTH of 2019; the startup of the plant is scheduled for MONTH 2019. The line is designed for a production capacity of 300,000 m³ of MDF annually. The delivery of the order for Xinyi Dake is due to start this year; the startup of the line is scheduled for April 2019. With the new line the manufacturer will increase production capacities for MDF at the Xinyi factory by 144,000 m³ annually.
