Siempelkamp at the NEWCAST / GIFA in Düsseldorf: ‘Vorsprung durch Guss – Casting is our Passion’
As early as 2015, the NEWCAST trade fair was already able to welcome 434 exhibitors who came from all over the world to showcase innovative and sustainable cast solutions for all industrial growth markets. ‘The Bright World of Metals’ – that’s the motto for the world’s most important platform for tailor-made cast products which will be featuring everything that is moving the industry in 2019. Be it precision cast products and process reliability, environmental protection / resource conservation, energy efficiency or digitalisation as the central topics – the trade fair is a must for all those who like Siempelkamp want to help shape the future.
Siempelkamp Giesserei, which specialises in the use of cast iron with spheroidal graphite to produce large-scale hand-moulded castings that can each weigh up to 320 tonnes, is one of the largest hand-mould foundries in the world. Its range of performances covers the entire production process from design, computer-aided simulation calculation and design, material development, pattern-making, mould-making and casting through to machining as well as packaging and transport. This underlines 135 years of technical expertise and know-how, concentrated at a single location.
Siempelkamp Giesserei will be presenting the central topics of digitalisation, efficiency and productivity at its stand right in line with this year’s motto of ‘Vorsprung durch Guss - Casting is our Passion’. Three-dimensional computer-animated castings in an almost incredible display that is practically tangible presents the digitalisation mechanisms and the downstream options that Siempelkamp Giesserei – which is always looking to the future – has at its disposal. “We’re excited about the interesting discussions that we’re going to have with customers and interested parties about current developments and common perspectives in a pleasant atmosphere that is a little removed from the hustle and bustle of our day-to-day activities,” said Dirk Howe, Managing Director at Siempelkamp Giesserei. Visitors to the trade fair are warmly invited to discover more about the metallurgical know-how and foundry expertise that the production of complex components and customer solutions in spheroidal graphite cast iron require – and to experience the friendly and competent support provided by Siempelkamp Giesserei’s sales team at the NEWCAST 2019 trade fair (Hall 13, Stand 22).
