Siempelkamp as innovation driver at LIGNA 2023: "We are family"

Krefeld, May 30 2023 – A highly frequented booth, excitement during the Experience Walk and the Expert Talks, intensive customer discussions and a consistently positive response – for Siempelkamp the LIGNA 2023 was a complete success which can be attributed to one thing in particular: More than ever, the unity of the international teams and the Siempelkamp management, paired with a strong contribution from the founding family, forms the backbone of the family-owned company which has been firmly anchored in the market as an innovation driver for 140 years.

“When digitalization contributes to sustainability” – with this trade show motto the international Siempelkamp team was on site at LIGNA 2023 in Hanover. The focus was thus on the two megatrends that move wood-based panel producers worldwide.

In Hanover, Siempelkamp impressively demonstrated its position as an innovation driver, inspiring the megatrends with solutions. In search of resource-efficient production processes and digital concepts, visitors were provided with answers to all their questions regarding the essential future trends for the wood-based panel industry at Siempelkamp's impressive new booth. Resource efficiency, environmental technology, and recycling "engineered by Siempelkamp" were a main focus of the trade show presentation. The Krefeld-based technology supplier also emphasized its new platform "IQ", which integrates all digital processes and tools over the life cycle of a plant. The latest version of Siempelkamp's reference product, the ContiRoll® Generation 9i, also attracted plant operators at the Hanover Fair: It unlocks optimizations in the three aspects of reliability, performance, and the accessibility of the press.

All these components of the campaign, which was visually implemented as a kaleidoscope, converged around one term: transformation. Digitalization and sustainability, efficiency and process optimization form essential drivers for the change which is indispensable for the environment and industries. For Siempelkamp this is a drive to set the course for future viability in its core market innovatively and with full force.

Over five days the Siempelkamp team had an intensive exchange with customers from all around the world who were warmly welcomed at the booth of their German partner. Throughout, Dr. Dieter Siempelkamp, managing director of the third generation and honorary chairman on the advisory board of G. Siempelkamp GmbH & Co. KG, was represented on site with other family members. A committed team, the newly composed management board, and the Siempelkamp family were thus united at LIGNA 2023 in their commitment to lead the name and tradition "Siempelkamp" into the future.
