Our hydroforming presses can be used to produce complex workpiece geometries in longitudinal and cross section that would not be achievable with conventional forming processes. Hydraulic clamping forces up to 100 MN and high-pressure intensifiers up to 10,000 bar enable weight savings of 40 to 75 percent with optimized wall thickness distribution and high dimensional accuracy. Short cycle times thanks to rapid filling systems make the presses economical even for large-scale series production.

Our compaction presses densify porous titanium sponge into compacts, which are then assembled into electrodes for remelting. In single-acting or double-acting design, they achieve press forces up to 80 MN. The double-acting design produces an especially high and homogeneous compact density across the cross section. The compression speed, which can be set precisely to the product, ensures maximum repeatability and dimensional accuracy.
