Overview of switchgear assemblies and control engineering

The Automation business unit within SIEMPELKAMP Maschinenfabrik GmbH designs and manufactures switchgear, control systems, and customer-specific control cabinets for industrial applications. The solutions are matched to the respective technical requirements, customer specifications, interfaces, and the intended installation situation.

Relevant national and international standards as well as agreed test requirements are taken into account on a project-specific basis. Scope of functions, target market, documentation, and test plan can be coordinated individually for specific projects in direct consultation. The former SIEMPELKAMP Automation GmbH, previously ATR Industrie-Elektronik, was merged with SIEMPELKAMP Maschinenfabrik GmbH on May 1, 2026. The existing control cabinet manufacturing portfolio remains in place.

Customer-specific control cabinets and assemblies are manufactured according to drawings, specifications, and agreed quality requirements. Tests during and after manufacturing support traceable implementation.

Verified quality and international standards

Defined manufacturing documents, coordinated test procedures, and documented final and functional tests support traceable quality assurance. Depending on the application and target market, we take into account, among others, DIN EN 61439, DIN EN 60204, and international requirements according to UL, cUL, NFPA, CSA, and NEC. The specific standards basis, the test plan, and the required evidence are coordinated to suit your project.
