Siempelkamp-Adler Youth Award: 1,111.11 euros for the Stahlsdorf children’s dance guard

Great joy for Kinderkarneval Stahldorf 1972 e.V.: The Siempelkamp-Adler Youth Award 2026 goes to the children’s dance guard of the Krefeld club. The donation budget fits the carnival theme, as exactly 1,111.11 euros are flowing into the club’s coffers.

The youth award is presented to youth-focused institutions and clubs in Krefeld. Until 2025 it delighted many beneficiaries as the ATR-Adler Youth Award, named after the Siempelkamp subsidiary ATR Industrie Elektronik GmbH (ATR), now Siempelkamp Automation GmbH (AUT), and the handball club Adler Königshof. In 2026 SIEMPELKAMP took over the role of award sponsor from ATR and is continuing its commitment to children and young people in Krefeld.

This year the donation goes to the children’s dance guard of Kinderkarneval Stahlsdorf 1972 e.V. For many years, the Krefeld club has stood for tradition, community, and active youth work in carnival. With enthusiasm and a strong sense of team spirit, the children prepare for their guard-dance performances. This vibrant joy in carnival culture, which also regularly captivates audiences, particularly impressed the donors. The donation handover took place on April 16 as part of a cabaret evening in the auditorium of the Maria-Sybilla-Merian-Gymnasium in Krefeld. And even though the next carnival season will not start for a few months, the 1,111.11 euros will sweeten the wait for the next season’s kick-off!
