Sometimes the right career path starts with a first insight. Amelie Stammen first got to know SIEMPELKAMP during an internship, later helped shape HR development as a working student, and ultimately succeeded in entering People Development.
Not every professional development starts with a fixed plan. Sometimes a real perspective grows step by step from an initial introduction. For Amelie Stammen, this path began with a study-related internship at SIEMPELKAMP. She then worked alongside her bachelor’s degree as a working student in HR development and was thus able to gain practical experience at an early stage in an area that connects people, organization, and development.
In parallel, she studied psychology with a focus on work and organizational psychology at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. It is precisely this combination of scientific understanding and practical experience that makes her story so exciting: it shows how a study-related entry can evolve into a role in which knowledge has a direct impact.
Today, Amelie works in health management in the People Development department. Her story stands for development with substance – and for the path from university studies to growing responsibility in everyday working life.
