LIGNA.Innovation Network 2021: Discover Siempelkamp live!
With the integration into the LIGNA.Innovation Network Siempelkamp strengthens its digital campaign around the megatrends sustainability, digitalization as well as the core competence "one-stop-shop" and is looking forward to welcoming LIGNA visitors with new, exciting content.
Starting on September 24th and thus before the start of the LIGNA.Innovation Network, the latest exploreSiempelkamp phase goes online. It establishes the direct connection to Siempelkamp products and technologies. Prominent guest speakers also invite visitors to take "Explore now!" literally in many multimedia presentations. For example, Prof. Dr. Thomas Bauernhansl, Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation in Stuttgart, shares his visions on the topic of digitalization and Big Data management. Dr. Michael Schöler, head of Siempelkamp Research and Development, meets Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Torsten Leps, specialist for materials science in the field of wood and wood-based materials at the TH Rosenheim, for a future talk. Both are discussing the future of the wood-based panels industry and the question of what options sustainability and resource efficiency hold for the industry.
Also available are videos which Siempelkamp produced together with EGGER in Unterradlberg/Austria and at IKEA in Hanover - here it becomes apparent how close Siempelkamp works to the challenges and processes which move wood-based panels and furniture producers. Visitors may also take a "shopfloor tour" through the Siempelkamp plant in Qingdao with Henry Yang, CEO Siempelkamp China.
Meet-up and Livestreaming: Welcome!
At the start of the LIGNA.Innovation Network Siempelkamp also invites customers and partners to make appointments with Siempelkamp contact persons via the meet-up function. In the exhibitor live streaming of the live event, the company is also represented with two sessions: One livestreaming covers the topic "sustainability and annual plants". Another focuses on future-oriented Siempelkamp concepts such as the digital control system ProdIQ®, condition monitoring and steel belt monitoring. Here it becomes apparent how Siempelkamp sets the basis for intelligent and highly efficient production processes.
