Jan Bender is new Head of Marketing & Communications of the Siempelkamp Group

Krefeld, August 07th, 2024 – Since August 1st, Jan Bender has been responsible for marketing and corporate communications at the Siempelkamp Group. The company has gained a marketing and communications expert whose industry expertise is clearly focused on the machine and plant engineering sector.

Jan Bender will be responsible for the strategic direction of brand management, global marketing and corporate communications for the Siempelkamp Group. In his function he will report directly to Martin Scherrer, CEO of the Siempelkamp Group.

Over 20 years of experience and international management responsibility in B2B marketing form the basis for Bender's new range of tasks. After graduating in industrial engineering, specializing in mechanical engineering, he began his professional career in 1998 with ThyssenKrupp Stainless GmbH.

This was followed by management positions at ThyssenKrupp in the areas of strategic marketing, e-business and sales coordination. In 2008 he took over the function of Senior Vice President Marketing & Regional Management at VDM Metals GmbH. This was followed by positions as Head of Marketing EMEA at LANXESS Performance Materials GmbH and most recently at Envalior Deutschland GmbH.
