NEXT-GENERATION LEADERSHIP AT THE SIEMPELKAMP GROUP: DR. STEPHAN NIGGESCHMIDT TAKES OVER MANAGEMENT OF THE BUSINESS UNIT SERVICE FROM STEFAN WISSING

“The decision to take this step is based on personal reasons,” says Stefan Wissing. “I had been planning for a long time to retire at the young age of 60. I am very pleased to hand over my responsibilities and roles to my highly esteemed colleague Stephan Niggeschmidt. He will ensure a smooth transition and continuity in our customer relationships.”
Dr. Stephan Niggeschmidt has been contributing his extensive experience in the industry and after-sales service to the Siempelkamp Group for the past twelve years." After completing his doctorate in industrial engineering, he began his professional career in 2010 with SMS in Mönchengladbach. In 2013 he joined Siempelkamp as the head of the technical field service department. In 2018, he was promoted to Managing Director at Siempelkamp Logistics & Service GmbH. He is also Managing Director of Siempelkamp’s Turkish subsidiary in Istanbul, whose establishment he played a key role in driving forward. In 2023, he became member in the Management Board of the Business Unit Service. This Business Unit develops and coordinates Siempelkamp Group’s global service activities. As part of this effort, the Siempelkamp Service Excellence Initiative was established. It brings together the Group’s global expertise to deliver outstanding, integrated service from a single source. This includes, among other services, spare parts supply, technical field and remote services, as well as comprehensive modernizations and retrofits of Siempelkamp’s plant technology.
Stefan Wissing looks back on a long career within the Siempelkamp Group. He joined the group in 1996 and has since held various responsible leadership positions within the Siempelkamp Group, both nationally and internationally. With his commitment and expertise, Stefan Wissing has been instrumental in the development of Siempelkamp and has made a significant contribution to the success of the Siempelkamp Group.
