Siempelkamp: Training at Machinery and Plants

Before applying for a training position, schoolchildren in years 9 and 11 can complete a placement with us which enables them to learn about the professions covered at Siempelkamp. In doing this, we want to guide them in their choices for their subsequent professional career. Placements are offered in the following sections:

In our metal section, e.g. industrial or turning mechanic
In our electronics section, e.g. mechatronics specialist
In our foundry as a foundry mechanic
As a model-making mechanic
In our commercial section

All placements are led by experienced trainers or training officers to ensure that the students get a comprehensive picture of the training they might later receive. This enables you to assess in advance whether what you thought was your dream job, really is the right one for you.

So how can you get a placement?

Either contact your school coordinator, who will get in touch with us, or take the initiative yourself and send your detailed application direct to Siempelkamp.

For us to be able to plan your placement, it is important that we know the exact dates for it. Please submit your inquiry at least three months before you would like your placement to start.
