Rendering outstanding services and well-proven quality is more and more accepted and is rewarded by the customer. Another prove for this is the order placed by EdF. Eight of nine updates which were to be contracted were ordered with MSDG. Siempelkamp MSDG SARL which is located at Forbach was founded as distribution and service company for tensioning systems in 2001 and since then the number of employees has increased from three to 11. Above all the service area with a manning level of presently eight in-house employees together with 22 German colleagues is the mainstay of the enterprise. Besides acquiring tensioning systems, update projects and product accompanying applications, e. g. stud cleaning equipment, MSDG is the most important supplier for exchange parts as well as jointly with STS major service supplier for tensioning systems in France. With its German mother company in the background, MSDG has stood up successfully to their French competitors and has thus achieved a strong position in the French market. “By our qualified service personnel we are today in the favourable situation to not only operate our own tensioning systems but also those of our competitors. Thus, we have further strengthened our market position” Herman Vervliet is summarizing the present enterprise development, deservedly proud.
For explanation: the name affix MSDG is derived from "Machines de Serrage et Desserage de Goujons", which is known as synonym for tensioning systems in French nuclear power plants.

The financial year 2009 has developed exceptionally well for the French subsidiary of Siempelkamp Tensioning Systems GmbH at Lünen. In the last month of the previous year MSDG has made a good catch. Siempelkamp MSDG has received the order to update eight tensioning systems as well as to supply one new tensioning system to the nuclear power plant of Gravelines. This order is associated with a ten-years service package for the NPPs of Electricité de France (EDF).
