Contents of the training:

  • Training as an industrial mechanic
  • Mechanical engineering degree course

 

For the first two years this course comprises a combination of training (three days per week) at the training company and study (two days per week) at Niederrhein University in Krefeld. These first two years are completed by sitting a standard final examination before the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The following three years comprise full-time study (including a placement semester and a dissertation).

 

After completing a degree, the graduate engineer produces drafts to show his concepts for the constructive implementation of his ideas for the development or further development of products. He develops the plans for these products, completes the calculations, contacts suppliers and compares prices.
