Siempelkamp Energy Systems (SES)

Panelboard production is energy intensive. SES energy plants utilizes waste from panelboard production to produce most of the energy required to run the plant: thermal oil for the press, steam for the refiner and flue gases to the dryer. Our plant can be fueled by anything from bark and start-up fiber to sander dust and rejected panels or low-grade fuel from outside the plant such as recycled wood material unsuitable for production.

With over 20 years of experiences and 47 energy plants delivered we can offer complete engineering know- how and technology to supply stable process heat to each consumer in the panelboard industry (MDF-, Particleboard and OSB Plants). Our plants are ranging from 10 MW - 70 MW firing capacity.

If connected to direct dryer systems the total efficiency of our energy plant is >95% which gives substantial fuel savings compared with other systems. Our well developed feed forward control system ensures reliable and stable production which also reduces need for manual operator control. All plants will be designed to individual customer needs which ensures maximum ROI (Return On Investment).

Low maintenance and cleaning needs give high availability of SES energy plants resulting in max. one time per year shut down.

The SES energy plant is a total integrated plant solution designed to individual customer needs with environmental benefits by using cleaned exhaust gases from press as combustion air or from other areas in the plant and/or use of effluent water for pre-wetting of dry fuel or inject this water into the combustion chamber.
