Scope of products and services

The entire production process – from the design stage and the construction of a model through the casting stage right up to machining and dispatch – is centrally monitored and controlled. The combination of process-linked research and development and a regular flow of information during the process is the key to shared success.

Quality

Materials are individually matched to each workpiece in order to ensure the best possible quality. Customer-specific quality requirements and standards are regularly monitored with the aid of jointly developed testing instructions.

Time

Fulfilling the requirements of customers in a timely fashion is one of the most important challenges for a production plant. At the Siempelkamp Foundry, the necessary production processes are controlled with the aid of rigorous product planning.

Costs

In order to keep production costs as low as possible, optimized molding pits and molding boxes are used. Depending on their weight, the cast parts are manufactured in different molding areas with matched crane capacities. A standardized molding sand system guarantees a high level of regeneration. Short distances between the model warehouse, the molding area / metal shop and the blasting shop guarantee efficient production processes.

Availability

The production facilities on offer at the Siempelkamp Foundry offer a high degree of flexibility, with cast part weights ranging from 3 Mg to 300 Mg and widely varying levels of complexity available for foundry products. A number of different analytical methods can be used to guarantee a whole host of material parameters. The high level of motivation and commitment that we bring to the development of new products ensures their – and your – success.

Product responsibility

Responsibility starts straight away with the design of the workpiece and the FEM-based calculations. As we are certified to DIN EN ISO 9001, we can assure reproducible production processes in all areas of the Siempelkamp Foundry. This gives us the security we need in order to commit to the different warranties we offer our customers.
